In soccer sector, the courts convicted and sentenced several former officials, including Du Zhaocai, Chen Xuyuan and Li Tie, according to the report.

最高法工作报告显示，严惩侵害未成年人犯罪。审结侵害未成年人犯罪案件4万件4.1万人，同比下降1.1%。对长期作案、先后拐卖17名儿童的“人贩子”余华英和强奸未成年人性质极其恶劣的郭某某、尚某某、公某某等，依法判处死刑。

Chinese courts have adopted a "zero-tolerance" policy towards severe offenses against children, with 40,000 cases involving 41,000 individuals adjudicated in the past year. Notably, Yu Huaying, a serial child trafficker who abducted and sold 17 children over an extended period, was sentenced to death.

最高法工作报告显示，强化未成年人犯罪预防治理。落实宽严相济、惩教结合，对未满十四周岁初中生杀害同学埋尸案主犯依法顶格判处无期徒刑，同案未参与犯罪预谋和加害行为的被告人，依法不予刑事处罚，由相关部门专门矫治教育。推动落实轻罪犯罪记录封存，帮助失足少年回归社会。

Supreme People's Court emphasized the severity of the punishment should be commensurate with the nature of the criminal act and its harmful consequences. 

A notable example cited was the case of a middle school student under the age of 14 who murdered a classmate and concealed the body. The principal offender received the maximum penalty of life imprisonment. Meanwhile, other defendants in the case, who were not involved in planning or carrying out the crime, were exempted from criminal punishment in accordance with the law. Instead, they were placed under specialized correctional education programs.

依法惩治偷拍窃听等违法犯罪

最高法工作报告显示，依法惩治侵犯公民个人隐私、偷拍窃听等违法犯罪，切实增强群众安全感。石某伙同他人在多家酒店客房安装设备，偷拍40余人隐私并制售视频牟利，被判处有期徒刑十年。
